
Martin, Ngao Set School Records in Lubbock

TCU wins three events on final day of Corky Classic
LUBBOCK, Texas – Tabitha Kalunde Ngao and Ryan Martin rewrote the record books on Day Two of the Corky Classic on Saturday at the Sports Performance Center.
TCU broke two school records in the first two races of the meet. On the women's side, Ngao shattered the school record with her time of 2:48.13. The previous record was 2:52.89 that was set in 2001 by Cindy Dietrich.
Martin immediately followed that performance with a PR of 2:23.17 in the men's 1000m as he won the race with his new school-record time. Also winning his race was Stone Burke with his time of 8:34.37 in the 3K.
Iyana Gray shined in the women's 200m as she clocked a 23.02 – the second fastest time in the NCAA this season and the second fastest indoor time in TCU school history. She finished second overall and first among collegians.
London Culbreath took second in the women's 3K with her time of 9:57.03. Mariana Martinez (10:11.06) and Peyton McQuillan (10:14.06) placed fourth and fifth, respectively. Also notching a fourth-place finish was Kashie Crockett with his time of 20.89 in the men's 200m.
In the women's 60m, Mikayla Hayes clocked a 7.28 in the finals, good for the second-fastest indoor time in program history. She finished fourth overall and Gray placed fifth with her time of 7.32.
Jasmin Muhammad-Graham placed fourth in both the 600y (1:21.85) and the 800m (2:10.98). In the men's 600y, Dominic Byles placed fifth with his time of 1:10.85 and Clay Macdonald finished sixth at 1:10.93. In the shot put, Kyler Van Grouw threw a personal-best 15.26m to take fifth.
Adding to the fifth-place finishes on the day was the squad of Jayden Douglas, David Seete, Byles and Macdonald who ran a 3:10.11 in the 4x400 relay.
In the women's long jump, Dreunna Washington took fifth with her leap of 5.99m and Emma Seetoo placed sixth with her jump of 5.98m. Seete took seventh in the 400m with his time of 46.87. Also placing seventh was Jais Smith, who ran a 6.69 to finish seventh in the 60m finals.
