Series Notes: Kansas State
- Wednesday's game is the symbolic intersection of TCU's past and future. Kansas State head coach Jeff Mittie is the winningest coach in TCU women's basketball history, having guided the Horned Frogs to all nine of their NCAA Tournament berths and accumulated 303-176 (.633) overall record from 1999-2014 in Fort Worth. Mark Campbell is on track to become the winningest first-year head coach the program has produced. Campbell is the only TCU head coach to have run the table in nonconference play and has already helmed the longest winning streak in program history. He is four victories shy of matching Raegan Pebley's 18 wins in 2014-15 for the most wins in a season by a first-year TCU head coach.
- TCU outscored Kansas State 46-34 in its 2022-23 defeat of the Wildcats.
- Tara Manumaleuga scored 16 points and shot 4-8 from downtown in last season's victory over Kansas State.
