TCU travels north to compete at Belmar Golf Club.
FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs are looking to make some noise this weekend, heading into their second tournament of the fall season.
TCU will make the trip up to the Sooner State, to compete in the Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla.
"We have had a very intentional and challenging week of focused practice," said head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin. "This is one of our favorite tournaments of the year benefiting the OK Kids Korral. We are excited and ready to compete and represent TCU with character and class."
TCU is coming off an 8th place finish at the Sam Golden Invitation, led by sophomore Sofia Barroso Sa. Barroso Sa finished the tournament at 7-under, while also setting a career-best for her low-54-hole score at 209.
THE COURSE – Belmar Golf Club – Par 70 – 6,182 Yards
Founded in 2002, Belmar Golf Club has served the greater Central Oklahoma area are one of the premier private golf clubs. Set in the unspoiled farmland of Norman, Okla., Belmar Golf Club features Bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens. Designed by Tripp Davis, the elevation changes along with the weaved direction through the surrounding homes offers a difficult challenge to any golfer.
