For the third time in program history, the Horned Frogs earn a spot in the Elite 8

GULF SHORES, ALA. – No. 2 TCU (36-2) swept No. 15 Stetson, 3-0, to advance to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals. The Horned Frogs earn their second program NCAA tournament victory. For the third consecutive season, TCU has earned a place in the NCAA Elite 8.

QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 15 STETSON:

Sutton MacTavish and Hailey Hamlett scored the first point of the dual in straight sets from the No. 3 position: 21-18, 21-11
The duo improved to 8-1 on the season.
The pairing notched their seventh ranked victory together.
MacTavish claimed her 30th win of the season and Hamlett her 28th.
Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno tallied the second point in straight sets at No. 1: 21-15, 21-16.
The pairing improved to 32-1 this season.
The duo collected their 16th ranked win of the season.
Alvarez notched her 35th victory of the season and Moreno her 32nd.
With back-to-back points from the No. 3 and No. 1's, the Horned Frogs only needed one final pairing to score to secure the victory.
Rochelle Scott and Hailey Brockett clinched the match for TCU in three sets from the No. 5 position: 18-21, 21-12, 15-10.
The duo improved to 27-3 this season.
The pairing tallied their 15th ranked victory this season.
Scott claimed her 34th win of the season and Brockett her 30th.
Anhelina Khmil/Kate Privett and Maria Gonzalez/Ana Vergara's matches were left unfinished as TCU had already clinched the dual.
