Olesen leads the way and places tied for 16th
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Jacob Skov Olesen and Aymeric Laussot finished in the top 20 at the Southern Highlands Collegiate on Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nev.
Olesen finished with five birdies in the final round and recorded his second-straight score under par at 2-under 70. He had his second top 20 finish this season and placed tied for 16th at 4-under 212.
Laussot finished one shot back of Olesen at 3-under 213. He had the fourth lowest round of the day with a score of 4-under 68 with six birdies and finished in a tie for 19th place, his second top 20 finish of the season.
Freshman Maxence Giboudot finished in a tie for 46th place at 3-over 219.
As a team, TCU shot even-par 288 and finished in 11th place overall at 3-over 867. No. 7 Illinois won the event, which had nine top 25 teams, at 21-under par.
The Horned Frogs return to play March 13-14 at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz.
