Wright shoots 5-under on Saturday
STANFORD, Calif. – TCU finished tied for 17th as play wrapped up at The Goodwin on Saturday at Stanford Golf Course.
In the final round, the Horned Frogs matched their first-round score of 9-over 289 and finished 14-over 854 for the three-day tournament.
TCU's best round of the day was from Lewis Wright, who was competing as an individual. Wright made five birdies and shot 5-under 65. He finished tied for 29th place at even-par 210.
Nathan Miller finished one shot back from Wright at 1-over 211 and in a tie for 37th place. He shot 4-over 74 on Saturday.
Jack Beauchamp and Charlie Wylie were just behind Miller. Beauchamp shot 2-over 212 and finished in a tie for 44th place. Wylie tied for 50th place at 3-over 213.
TCU will return to action April 13-14 at the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W.Va.
