
TCU Swimmers Shine in Day Three

More Records Fall
Austin, Texas: Jadon Wuilliez, Milan Fabian and Claire Chahbandour raise the bar for TCU swim and dive in day three of the Big 12 Championships in Austin, Texas.
In Friday's action 22 Frogs qualified for championship finals and put on memorable performances. Wuilliez swam a career best in the 100-breaststroke final where he finished with a silver medal. The sophomore clocked in at 51.70 just missing out on a NCAA A-cut. He walked away with the TCU record in the event.
Fabian put forth a dominate performance in the 200 freestyle. The sophomore capped off the final with a time of 1:35.24 for fourth place. His time broke the all-time TCU record and earned a NCAA B-cut.
Chahbandour built upon a record she already held. In the 100 breaststroke, she powered to a career best 1:01.29 reaching a NCAA B-cut.
Freshman Edgar Cicanci continued to make his mark in his first season with the Frogs. He sported a 47.16 second 100 back performance for a bronze medal and another B-cut.
TCU took part in multiple top-five finishes during day three. Jeanne Dahmen started the finals session with a fifth-place finish in the 100 fly. She was just .05 second off the school record. On the men's side, Piotr Sadlowski continues to lead the Frogs with a fourth place time of 47.55.
Geremia Freri finished the 400 IM just short of the TCU record at 3:46.14. The sophomore earned fourth place overall in the event.
Emma Hultquist led the women's 200 freestyle with a fourth place time of 1:47.88.
