Hubbard Takes Silver in the Final Day at Big 12s

Men Finish Second; Women in Third
Austin, Texas: The TCU men's team finish the Big 12 Championships in second while the women's team places third in Austin, Texas.
Alec Hubbard was the highlight of the day for the TCU Horned Frogs on the afternoon as he broke the school record on the platform. The sophomore broke the school record at the Big 12 championships last season placing third. He surpassed that mark with a score of 391.05 finishing less than two points from first place.
Sophomore Tristan McFarland provided another push for the men's team as he placed third in the men's 1650 freestyle. Jadon Wuilliez added a top 10 time of his own in the men's 200 breast.
On the women's side Jordan Edwards pushed her mile time to the third best in school history. She swam 16:46.98 for the sixth-place spot. Freshman Edgar Cicanci has put on an impressive freshman campaign all year. He swam a fourth-place time of 1:45.41 in the 200 back.
The night closed out with the 400 freestyle relay and the women's team for the TCU Horned Frogs put on a show as they dashed to the new school record and second place overall.
