- Sunday's game marks the fifth time the Classic has been staged in Schollmaier Arena.
- The Horned Frogs hosted the Black Knights in the event's first playing in Fort Worth on Dec. 12, 2018. TCU won the game 63-38.
- TCU is 2-2 as a Maggie Dixon Classic participant. The Horned Frogs defeated Boise State at the 2019 edition and fell to North Carolina and South Florida in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
- The last two winning seasons in TCU history (2018-19, 2019-20) included a game vs. Army.
- TCU earned its first 4-0 start in four years and seventh in its 47-season existence with Wednesday's win over Incarnate Word.
- Mark Campbell became the first first-year head coach to start his Horned Frogs tenure 4-0 with TCU's six-point win over the Cardinals.
- Sedona Prince scored a career-high 26 points to pair with four blocks to will TCU to Wednesday's win. Prince scored 20 of her points in the second half, including 13 in the third quarter.
- Prince leads the NCAA in double-doubles (three). She ranks second nationally in total blocks (four) and 11th in total rebounds (39).
- Prince and Madison Conner have scored in double figures in all four games. They rank second and sixth in the Big 12 in points per game.
- Conner continues to lead the country in 3-pointers with 19 - five more than any player - and ranks second in 3-pointers per game (4.75). She went 4-8 from distance vs. Incarnate Word. Three of her deep balls came in the first half.
- Conner was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday. She became the seventh player in program history and first in two-and-a-half years to receive the accolade.
- Conner averaged 24 points, nine rebounds and five 3-pointers during opening week. The junior finished with double-doubles against Oral Roberts (30 pts, 11 rbs) and Rice (19 pts, 11 rbs).
- TCU has canned a Big 12 and NCAA-leading 40 three-pointers through four games. The Horned Frogs connected 14 times from distance - their most in a game in five seasons - vs. TAMU-Kingsville (Nov. 8).
- The Horned Frogs rank third nationally in blocks per game (8.2). TCU rejected a season-high 11 shots on Wednesday. The 11 blocks were TCU's most in a game in three seasons since swatting an identical number vs. Oral Roberts on Dec. 20, 2020
- TCU is outscoring opponents 83-43 in the second quarter.
- The Horned Frogs are holding teams to 30.2 percent shooting from the field, which ranks second in the Big 12 and 30th among all D1 teams. No opponent has shot above 33 percent vs. the Frogs.

- Cavinder's pledge marks the fourth straight season in which Campbell has plucked a graduate student point guard from the transfer portal. Campbell inked eventual Big Sky MVP's Kahlaijah Dean (2023) and Lianna Tillman (2022) during his tenure at Sacramento State, then pried Jaden Owens away from Baylor in May.
- Maggie Dixon led Army to its first-and-only Patriot Leage Championship and NCAA Tournament in 2006 before passing away suddenly just weeks later due to an undiagnosed heart arrhythmia.
- Dixon is the lone coach in the history of Army men's and women's basketball to guide a team to the Big Dance, a feat made all the more impressive when considering Bob Knight and Mike Krzyzewski once paced the sidelines in West Point.
- The inaugural Maggie Dixon Classic took place in West Point in November 2006. The Classic was then held inside Madison Square Garden from 2007-2015.
- The Classic relocated to Funky Town in 2018 ahead of Jamie Dixon's third year at the men's basketball helm. The Horned Frogs hosted the Black Knights in the event's first playing in Fort Worth. TCU won the game 63-38.
- Jamie Dixon had this to say ahead of the 2018 Maggie Dixon Classic between TCU and Army: "The first basketball Maggie probably remembers is watching me play at TCU. I was 17 when I came here, she was 5, so I'm sure she remembers going to watch the games at the local pizza parlor to watch on the satellite at the bar. It was the only way you could get them back in the day. ... This event is important to women's basketball. It's a premier game. It has name recognition and that's why we want to keep it going."

TCU's 2019-20 team that visited West Point went on to finish the season with a 22-7 overall record and 13-5 mark in conference play and was a lock for the Big Dance before COVID-19 canceled the NCAA Tournament.
- TCU's 63-38 win against Army in the 2018 Maggie Dixon Classic was the third win in an eventual eight-game winning streak - the second-longest in program history.
