
No. 2 TCU Closes Out Successful Fall at UTEP

Hogan sets career highs in both disciplines.
EL PASO – The No. 2 ranked TCU women's rifle team closed out the fall campaign, shooting a team score of 4,740 at UTEP Sunday morning. Mikole Hogan's career-high day led all shooters as TCU fired the top six marks in the match.
Hogan fired a match-best and a career-high 592 in smallbore. She added a career-high 596 in air rifle to complete her outstanding performance. Overall, she led the field with an aggregate of 1,188.
TCU had another strong outing in smallbore, shooting a team score of 2,352. Behind Hogan's career-high, Stephanie Grundsoee finished second with a 589. Serving as a counter, Nina Schuett tied her season-high with a 588. Katie Zaun contributed a 583. Jeanne Haverhill fired a 579. While not factoring in the team score, Stephanie Allan fired a 583.
The Frogs continued their stellar shooting in air rifle, shooting a 2,388, tying the eight-best mark in program history. All six shooters fired a 593 or better. Allan led all participants, shooting a 599. Grundsoee contributed a 597 and Hogan a 596. Haverhill fired a 596 followed closely by Zaun's 595. Schuett fired a 593.
TCU will take a two month break from competition. The spring portion of the schedule kicks off Jan. 14 when the Horned Frogs host Air Force and Ohio State.
