
Rifle Turns In Solid Effort at Georgia Southern

White fires a career-high 599 in air rifle
STATESBORO, Ga. – The No. 2-ranked TCU women's rifle team returned to action Sunday at Georgia Southern and turned in another solid effort on the range. The Horned Frogs won the dual with a team score of 4,734 after firing a 2,350 in smallbore and a 2,384 in air rifle.
TCU produced five of the top six aggregate scores in the match. Katie Zaun led all shooters with an aggregate of 1,190 followed closely by Stephanie Grundsoee's 1,189. Anne White turned in a third place finish with an aggregate of 1,181. Jeanne Haverhill turned a career-high 1,179 aggregate.
Zaun and Grundsoee set the tone in smallbore, firing scores of 592 and 591, respectively. Haverhill shot a career-high 585 to sit fourth among shooters. White and Stephanie Allan fired identical scores of 582. Mikole Hogan rounded out the top 10 with a 577.
In air rifle, TCU had the top three marks led by a career-high 599 from Anne White. All seven shooters eclipsed the 592 mark in the match. Zaun and Grundsoee each fired a 598. Haverhill and Allan contributed identical marks of 594. Hogan fired a 593 and Nina Schuett rounded out the match with a 592.
Georgia Southern shot a school-record 4,702 (2,326 smallbore; 2,376 air rifle). The Eagles were led by Addy Burrow's 1,181 (587 smallbore; 594 air rifle).
TCU will wrap up its three-match road streak to open the season at Air Force on Oct. 21. The match is slated to get underway at 10 a.m.
