Her 3,000m time of 9:31.49 is the third fastest time in school history
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Behind Gracie Morris' first-place finish in the 3,000m, the TCU distance squad shined on Day Two of the Vanderbilt Invitational.
Gracie Morris' time of 9:31.49 was faster than the next closest competitor by more than two seconds. It was the third fastest indoor time in school history.
Peyton Mcquillan continued her strong indoor season with another personal-best in the mile. After running a 5:09.25 at the Arkansas Invitational last week, she clocked a 5:06.70 in Saturday's race. She was good for 27th overall.
Josh Benford (1:56.81) and Cory Hatchel (2:02.74) placed 27th and 45th, respectively, in the 800m. In the men's mile, Noah Winters' time of 4:20.02 was good for 38th.

TCU travels to the New Mexico Collegiate Classic from Feb. 3-4 in Albuquerque N.M. The distance teams will also compete at the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 4 in Ames, Iowa.
