
Mayberry Wins 200m National Championship

Freshman runs world-leading time to win first title
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – TCU's Indya Mayberry won the women's 200m National Title at the 2025 NCAA Division I Track and Field Indoor Championships on Saturday afternoon.
Just a freshman, Mayberry clocked a world-leading time of 22.30 in the event to become the first Horned Frog to win an indoor national title since 2016 when Ronnie Baker won the men's 60m crown.
Her winning time in the 200m marked the seventh fastest indoor time ever in the world and was the second best in U.S. history.
Mayberry also raced in the 60m final, finishing fourth overall in 7.17 to earn fourth team All-American honors.
