Play begins Monday at 8:15 a.m. at Colonial Country Club
FORT WORTH – TCU will welcome most of the nation's top teams to Colonial Country Club for the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational beginning Monday at 8:15 a.m.
The 16-team field includes seven ranked in the top 10 and 13 in the top 25. It also includes the last six NCAA National Championship teams and all eight that advanced to match play at last season's NCAA Championships. Individually, the field includes 15 of the top 30 ranked amateurs in the world.
TCU will go with the lineup of senior Aymeric Laussot, senior Gustav Frimodt, senior Jacob Skov Olesen, sophomore Ethan Dial and junior Brandon Massey.
Play begins with 36 holes on Monday at 8:15 a.m. via a shotgun start. On Tuesday, the final 18 holes starts at 8 a.m. off of No. 1 and No. 10.
Anyone is welcome to attend and admission is free.

THE COURSE – Par 70 | 7,204 yards
Colonial Country Club has hosted an annual PGA Tour event since 1946, the longest running non-major tour event to be held at the same venue. The club was started in 1936 and hosted the 1941 U.S. Open, the 1975 Tournament Players Championship and the 1991 U.S. Women's Open. The course sits along the bank of the Trinity River and is located less than a mile from the campus of TCU.
LAST TIME OUT
Aymeric Laussot finished seventh to lead TCU at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, N.M. on Sept. 24. Laussot had a career-best 7-under 65 in the opening round. Gustav Frimodt shot 1-under par in all three rounds to finish tied for 10th place. As a team, the Horned Frogs finished in fourth out of 19 teams.

- Last season, TCU finished sixth out of 15 teams at Colonial, led by Justin Gums' ninth place finish.
- Laussot finished 20th at last season's Colonial event at 3-over 213. Two seasons ago, Laussot was ninth at 2-over 212 at the tournament, which included a final round score of 4-under 66.
- TCU has finished in the top five of the Big 12 Conference in each of the last three seasons.
- TCU has advanced to the NCAA Championship eight times in the past 13 seasons.
- Bill Montigel is in his 45th season at TCU and his 36th season as the head coach of TCU men's golf. Associate Head Coach Adrien Mork is in his sixth season at TCU.
- Under Montigel, TCU has finished in the top 20 at the NCAA Championship 13 times, qualified for 31 out of the last 32 NCAA Regionals and won eight conference titles. Montigel has been named conference coach of the year seven times.
