Udovich Named to All-Region Team

Minnesota native is TCU’s first all-region honoree since 2024
FORT WORTH – TCU freshman Sam Udovich was named to the PING All-Central Region Team announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Saturday.
The Grove Heights, Minn., native became the first Horned Frog to earn all-region honors since Gustav Frimodt in 2024 and the first to do so as a freshman since Julien Brun in 2012.
Udovich is coming off one of the best seasons in recent history with a team-leading scoring average of 70.45. His score vs. par of -0.71 was the fifth best in a season at TCU. Udovich was TCU's top finisher five times including the Big 12 Championship when he tied for fourth place and the NCAA Regional when he tied for 17th.
He carded 134 birdies which was the ninth most in a season at TCU since that record was first kept in 1997. Udovich had 19 rounds of par or better, including 13 that were sub-70.
In October, Udovich went 19-under and was runner-up at the Ka'anapali Classic, tied for the lowest score vs. par for 54 holes by a TCU player since at least the 1993-94 season. Also, his score of 194 was the lowest 54-hole score since at least the 1993-94 season.
It added to the list of awards for Udovich this season that includes All-Big 12 Second Team and All-Big 12 Tournament Team.
