
Women Earn Team Win at ACU Naimadu Classic

The Frogs have three runners place in the Top 10
ABILENE, Texas – The TCU cross country team opened up the 2022 season with the women's team finishing first at the ACU Naimadu Classic in Abilene, Texas, Friday night.
Three Frogs paced the way for the women's first-place finish. Gracie Morris led the Frogs in her TCU cross country debut as she placed third (13:52.8). Mariana Martinez kept up with her successful season last year and finished fifth (14:36.3).
In first collegiate race, Jenna Buchanan crossed the finish line ninth overall (14:49.0). Jasmin Muhammad-Graham (15:01.4) and Peyton McQuillan (15:03.5) clinched the Frogs' victory with 13th and 14th place efforts, respectively.
The men's team came in fifth place as sophomore Stone Burke finished seventh with an overall time of 18:45.4. Coming in second for the Frogs was Finn Riley as his time of 19:21.9 was good for 19th overall.
