TCU to Host BIG EAST Champions in Annual Battle

Frogs will play Providence on Nov. 30 at Schollmaier Arena
FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball will host Providence in the fourth year of the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle.
The matchup against the 2022 BIG EAST Champions will take place Nov. 30 in Schollmaier Arena. Television networks and game times for all 10 matchups will be announced when available. The four-year agreement between the two conferences continues through the 2022-23 season with an equal number of games played in each conference's home market each year.
The all-time series is tied 1-1 with Providence winning the previous match up two seasons ago in Fort Worth, 79-70. The Friars went 27-6 last season and as a No. 4 seed, advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
TCU is 1-2 in the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle after winning last season's game at Georgetown, 80-73.
The Horned Frogs return nine players from last season's team which went 21-13 and won their first NCAA Tournament game in 35 seasons. Jamie Dixon enters his seventh year as the head coach at TCU.
