FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs are looking to bounce back after dropping their first two matches of conference play, 7-0, on the road at Baylor and Texas. TCU's most reliable position this season has been the No. 1 spot, where Alisa Soloveva and Mercedes Aristegui have combined for a 7-5 record. Soloveva is responsible for five of those victories, while Aristegui holds a 2-1 record at the top spot.
TCU defeated KU and KSU last season in Fort Worth in a pair of 4-3 finsihes. It was the first time TCU had beaten both Big 12 Kansas schools in the same season since 2016.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Kansas (7-6) enters the weekend ranked No. 24. The Jayhawks lost both matches in their opening weekend of Big 12 play, falling 6-1 to Oklahoma and 4-1 to Oklahoma State. KU is 6-0 at home this season. TCU leads the all-time series, 7-4, but have only won once in Lawrence, back in 2015.
Kansas State (6-6) holds a No. 53 ranking after dropping Big 12 matches at Oklahoma (4-1) and at Oklahoma State (4-0). The Wildcats are 5-2 on their home courts, despite losing two of their last three to Memphis and Northwestern. TCU leads the all-time series with KSU, 10-1, including a perfect 3-0 record in Manhattan.
