
TCU Earns NCAA Tournament Bid

FORT WORTH – TCU's men's basketball team will make its ninth NCAA Tournament appearance on Friday against Seton Hall in San Diego, Calif.
Tip is set for 8:57 p.m. CT on truTV from Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl.
The Horned Frogs are seeded ninth in the South Region and will face the eighth-seeded Pirates out of the Big East Conference for the first time.
It will be TCU's second NCAA Appearance in four seasons of which postseason play was held. In 2018, TCU was seeded sixth and played in Detroit, Mich.
The winner of TCU and Seton Hall will play Sunday against the winner of No. 1 seed Arizona and either Bryant or Wright State, both are No. 16 seeds.
Head coach Jamie Dixon will be making his 13th NCAA Tournament appearance in his 19 seasons as a head coach. Dixon made the "Big Dance" 11 times in 13 seasons as the head coach at Pittsburgh.
TCU finished the regular season with a 20-12 record overall and 8-10 in the Big 12 Conference, and matched its highest finish ever in the conference at fifth place. Seton Hall was 21-10 overall and finished fifth in the Big East with a record of 11-8.
