Frogs take on Cowgirls on Senior Day
FORT WORTH – The No. 5- ranked TCU equestrian team is set for its last Big 12 matchup of the season against No. 1- ranked Oklahoma State. The meet between the Frogs and Cowgirls will take place at Diamond Creek Ranch (nut free facility) at 10 a.m. on Saturday, TCU will honor its nine Seniors following the meet.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Oklahoma State leads the all-time series 23-11. TCU is 7-6 over the Cowgirls when facing them in Fort Worth. The last matchup between the two teams was on Oct. 23, 2021, where OSU took down TCU 12-6 in Stillwater.
SCOUTING THE FROGS
TCU (8-5, 2-3 Big 12) is coming off a big week after taking down their fifth-straight ranked opponent for the first time in program history. The Horned Frogs dominated No. 8 Fresno State, pulling out a 15-5 victory. TCU claimed all four MOPs on Friday, giving the Frogs four MOPs in a meet for the fourth time this season. TCU holds at No. 5 in the NCEA Dual Discipline ranking and at No. 2 in the Big 12 behind No. 1 Oklahoma State.
The Jumping Seat has been a powerhouse this Spring, opening the meet against the Bulldogs with a 5-0 win in Fences with Sophomore, Sydney Berube leading the charge, riding her way to an 88-85 victory and an MOP. Berube went on to claim her second victory on the day with the high score in the Flat arena carding an 87.5 and helping TCU secure the events point, 4-1. Ashleigh Scully also went 2-0 on the day with the second highest score in Fences and beating her opponent 85-79. In Flat, Scully carded a 77.5 to take down her Bulldog opponent and claim another point for TCU.
The Western Seat has held steady this season outscoring the Bulldogs 6-4 overall last week. Giorgia Medows proves to be a dominate force in Horsemanship as she secured another MOP in the event with a 76.5-73 win on Bob. Shea Graham led the Western riders that day going 2-0 in the discipline with a 74.5-71.5 win in Horsemanship and 72-70 win in Reining and claiming the MOP. TCU looks to bounce back against the Cowgirls Saturday morning and send the Seniors off with a victory.

Oklahoma State (8-1, 5-0 Big 12) is coming off a win over No. 8 Fresno State in their final home meet of the year. Oklahoma State has only dropped one meet this season against SMU in November where they lost 10-5. The Cowgirls look to improve to 9-1 on the season which would make it the best start in program history.
In their last meet the Cowgirls pulled out a win over Fresno State capping off an undefeated home stand. OSU brought home all four MOPs in the meet coming from Sydnie Ziegler in Fences with an 85-60 win, Hannah Coleman in Flat with an 89.5-79.5 victory, Claire McDowall in Horsemanship with a 79-75.5 win and Kelly Harper who scored a 73 in Horsemanship. TCU's Isabella Baxter was the only Horned Frog to secure an MOP against OSU in November riding her way to an 86 in Fences.
