TCU readies for SEC road dual at Alabama
FORT WORTH -- TCU women's tennis (6-1) has its sights set on its first road win of the new season when the Horned Frogs travel to Alabama (6-0) for a noon match against the Crimson Tide.

The Horned Frogs are looking for their first road win of the season in their second attempt. TCU is a perfect, 6-0 on the purple courts this season with the lone blemish coming on the road at Wisconsin.
Freshman Jade Otway leads TCU with eight overall victories this season (5-0 singles, 3-2 doubles). The No. 1 junior player in New Zealand has provided tremendous depth in singles action, recording all five of her wins at No. 4-6.
The Horned Frogs singles record stands at 20-6 this dual season, thanks to a program record five-match home sweep streak set at the beginning of the year. TCU is 5-1 at the No. 1 singles spot, thanks to three wins from graduate senior Alisa Soloveva and a pair of wins from senior Mercedes Aristegui.
TCU has used seven different doubles pairs this season, none more successful than Addy Guevara and Isabel Pascual. The duo is 4-0 this season (1-0 No. 2 and 3-0 No. 3). The Frogs/ No. 1 pair of Aleksa Cveticanin and Stevie Kennedy are tied for the team lead with four wins as well, after getting back into the win column in their last match, vs. North Texas.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Alabama enters the dual with a 6-0 record after defeating Houston, 6-1, on Friday night. TCU will be the Crimson Tide's first Power 5 dual of the year. Alabama leads the all-time series, 6-1, with TCU's win coming in the last meeting, a 6-1 victory in Fort Worth. The Frogs are 0-3 all-time in Tuscaloosa.
