Gracie Morris will run in the women’s 6K at 9 a.m.
FORT WORTH, Texas – After placing second overall at the NCAA South Central Regional, Gracie Morris will compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 9 a.m. in Stillwater, Okla. Morris is the first runner to qualify for TCU since 2016.

A Historic Season
Gracie Morris was the first runner to cross the finish line for the Horned Frogs in every race she competed in this year.
Most recently, Morris ran a personal-best 20:17.1 to finish second in the women's 6K at the NCAA South Central Regional. She recorded the highest individual finish for TCU ever on the women's side at the South Central Regional since 2003 when Mary Kinyanjui won the meet.
She led the Frogs to a 10th-place finish at the Big 12 Championships. Morris finished 18th overall with her time of 21:37.5.
Morris also dominated the regular season. She kicked off the season with a third-place finish at the Big Country XC Festival, leading the Frogs to place first as a team with 41 total points. The following week, she won her first collegiate race with a time of 17:11.5 at the UTA Season Opener.
She finished the regular season finishing second at the Texas A&M Invitational. Collectively, Morris has placed in the top three in four of the five races she has run this year.
She is the first TCU runner to qualify for the NCAA Championships since Brenley Goertzen in 2016.
Morris is in her first year of cross country with TCU. The Aledo, Texas, native transferred to TCU this past spring and competed in both indoor and outdoor track & field seasons. She qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 1500m and earned Honorable Mention honors.
