
Gonzales and Kowa Lead Cross Country at Cowboy Jamboree

STILLWATER, Okla. – Running out of the state of Texas for the first time this season, TCU cross country tested itself against top-25 competition at the Cowboy Jamboree on Friday.
Racing in a loaded field, Chachi Gonzales led the women in their first 6k race of the season. She finished 36th overall and helped the TCU women to an eighth-place team result. For the men, Mohammed Kowa and Johnson Lagat held their own, logging top-40 performances in the 8k. Kowa crossed the finish line in 24th, and Lagat was 36th.
