
Horned Frogs Compete at Big 12 Championships

Gracie Morris finished 18th overall
LUBBOCK, Texas – The TCU cross country teams competed at the Big 12 Championships on Friday morning at the LCU Cross Country Course. The women's team finished 10th with 246 points, while the men's team came in ninth with 263 points.
Gracie Morris led the way for TCU as she placed 18th overall with a personal-best 6K time of 21:37.5. It's the highest individual finish for TCU at the Big 12 Championships since 2016 when Brenley Goetzen placed third overall.
Mariana Martinez finished second for the Frogs and 55th overall (23:14.7) and Elena Viejo placed 57th overall with her time of 23:22.8.
On the men's side Stone Burke was the top finisher for the Frogs with his time of 26:16.17. Coming in second for TCU was Noah Winters as he placed 66th overall with a time of 27:01.2.

The Frogs will compete at the NCAA South Central Regional on Friday, Nov. 11 in College Station, Texas.
