Frogs to take on Skyhawks on Saturday
FORT WORTH – The No. 10- ranked TCU equestrian team is set for a matchup against No. 9-ranked UT Martin this Saturday, Jan. 29, at Diamond Creek Ranch (nut free facility) at 10 a.m.
ALL-TIME SERIES
The Horned Frogs lead the all-time series 9-1 over the Skyhawks. TCU is 3-0 when facing UT Martin at home. The last time the two programs faces off was exactly a year ago on Jan. 28, 2021. The only loss that TCU has to UT Martin came from a neutral sight meet in 2019 where the Frogs lost in the raw scoring 1,245-1,240.
SCOUTING THE FROGS
TCU (4-5, 0-3 Big 12) is coming off a huge win on Thursday night where they dominated No. 7 Delaware State 14-5. The Frogs brought home all four MOPs that night thanks to Isabella Baxter in Fences, Jacey Albaugh in Flat, Shea Graham in Reining and Mattie Dukes in Horsemanship.
The Jumping Seat was perfect in Fences Thursday as they took down the Hornets 4-0. Sydney Berube secured her first career win in the event with an 80 and Isabella Baxter scored her highest score of the season with an 87. In Flat, the Frogs fell to the Hornets 2-3, but Jacey Albaugh managed to secure her highest score of the season in the event as well as the MOP. Ashleigh Scully continues to prove herself as a dominate force in the Jumping Seat winning both her Fences and Flat duals.
The Western Seat lit up the Fort Worth Stock Show Thursday night with a 4-1 showing in both Reining and Horsemanship. Shea Graham, Jessica McAllister and Girogia Medows each came out perfect going 2-0 in both events. Shea Graham secured the MOP in Reining with a 72-70.5 victory on Snoop Dog while Mattie Dukes claimed her seventh win and second MOP of the season in Horsemanship.

UT Martin (4-4, 4-2 ECAC) is coming off a 10-6 win over No. 7 Delaware State Friday morning. The Skyhawks made a complete turnaround after a 16-4 loss to No. 6 SMU on Thursday morning.
The Skyhawks secured five points in both disciplines against the Hornets. Haley Kane led the charge in Fences outscoring her opponent 78-73 and winning the MOP while Sophia Sunde was named MOP and won 82.5-74.5 in Flat. Paige Benson was the only Skyhawk on the Western side to be named MOP with a 74.5-68.5 win over Delaware State. UT Martin beat Delaware State 1,090.5-1,145.0 in raw score while TCU outscored the same opponent the night before 1,526.5-1,452.5.
