Frogs claim all four MOPs in back-to-back meets
FORT WORTH – The No. 10- ranked TCU equestrian team took down No. 9 UT Martin, 15-3, Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth. The Frogs claimed all four MOPs on the day in back-to-back meets for the first time this season.
THE RUNDOWN
TCU (5-5, 0-3 Big 12) opened the day with a 3-1 victory in Fences. Graduate student, Raegan Rast, led the charge outscoring her opponent 87-68 on Mabel and securing her second MOP of the season in the event. Isabella Baxter moves to 5-3-0 on the season with her 83-71 win on Connor. Ashleigh Scully adds her sixth win in the event carding an 86 on Fats.
In Flat, the Horned Frogs took down the Skyhawks 4-1 with two 87-point wins coming from Wynne Weatherly on Mac and Ashleigh Scully on Mabel. Scully was named MOP for the second time this season. Sydney Berube came through with an 82-67 win to claim her second win in the event this season. Jacey Albaugh tallied her fifth win in the event with a dominate 84-73.5 win o Casper.
On the Western side, TCU swept UT Martin, 5-0, in Reining. This is the second time this season that Reining has swept an opponent the first coming from the first meet of the season against South Carolina. Jenna Welker led the charge in her first career start claiming the MOP and winning 71.5-69. Mattie Dukes moved to 6-3-0 in the event with a 70-69 victory. Shea Graham, Jessica McAllister and Madyson Buchanan scored the last three points for the Frogs.
The meet concluded in the Horsemanship arena where Giorgia Medows claimed her first MOP of the season with a 76-75 win on Flash. Jessica McAllister stays at the top of the win column with her ninth win in the event carding a 71.5 on George. Mattie Dukes wrapped up the meet riding her way to 8-0-1 in the event with a 75-72.5 win on Jake.

The Horned Frogs will be back in action Saturday morning where they will travel down I-30 to take on No. 6 SMU in Dallas at 11 a.m.
