Frogs show strong in first Spring Meet
FORT WORTH – The No. 10- ranked TCU equestrian team dominated No. 7 Delaware State, 14-5, Thursday evening in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs secured all four MOPs on the day for the second time this season.

THE RUNDOWN
TCU (4-5, 0-3 BIG 12) opened the day with a 4-0 sweep in Fences. Sydney Berube secured her first career win in the event carding an 80 on Mabel. Isabella Baxter rode her way to her highest score and third MOP on the season with an 87 on Fats. Ashleigh Scully and Raegan Rast both added their fifth win on the season scoring an 86 and 84 respectively.
In Flat, the Horned Frogs fell to the Hornets 2-3. Jacey Albaugh raked in her first MOP and high score in the event this season with an 84.5 on Lina. Ashleigh Scully advances to 4-4 on the season in Flat with a 74.5-65 win on Wiz.
On the Western side, TCU dominated in Reining, winning the event 4-1. Shea Graham led the charge earning her first MOP of the season with a 72-70.5 win on Snoop Dog. Giorgia Medows, Madyson Buchanan and Jessica McAllister each earned their sixth, fifth and third win in the event respectively.
The meet concluded with Horsemanship where Mattie Dukes continues to succeed for the Horned Frogs. Dukes outscored her opponent 76-73.5 and claimed the MOP for the event where she is now 7-0-1. Jessica McAllister secured her eighth win in the event this season as she rode Gomer to a 74-73 victory. Giorgia Medows (75-71) and Shea Graham (73.5-70.5) both came out victorious over the Hornets.

The Horned Frogs are back in action Saturday morning where they will take on No. 9 UT Martin at Diamond Creek Ranch at 10 a.m.
