TCU hits the road to battle Power 5 opponent
FORT WORTH -- TCU women's tennis (4-0) prepares for its first road match of the 2022 season. The Horned Frogs travel north to battle Wisconsin on Thursday, Jan. 27, at noon inside Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wisc. TCU enters the dual with a 4-0 record, winning each of the first four matches of the season, 4-0, marking the most sweeps to begin a season in program history.

The Horned Frogs enter Thursday's dual with a 20-1 overall record in matches this season (12-0 singles, 8-1 doubles). Eight of the nine rostered players have recorded a singles victory this year, led by freshman Helena Narmont, with three. Narmont has recorded victories at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 this season.
In doubles, the No. 1 pairing seems to be set, with seniors Aleksa Cveticanin and Stevie Kennedy holding down the top spot. The pair is 3-0 this season, outscoring their opponents 19-7 in their victories.
The Horned Frogs lead the all-time series with Wisconsin, 2-1. The two schools have not faced off since 1990, when Wisconsin claimed a 5-4 victory. This will be the first meeting in Wisconsin.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Wisconsin will be playing its first dual of the 2022 season on Thursday against the Frogs. The Badgers finished last season with an 8-11 record, playing 16 of their 19 duals against Big Ten foes.
The Badgers boast one ranked singles player, junior Xinyu Cai. Cai checks in at No. 59 in the ITA preseason singles rankings.
