Women's Golf Adds Niblett to Program

Austin native is a transfer from Texas A&M
FORT WORTH -- TCU Head Women's Golf Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin has announced the addition of Makenzie Niblett to the program.
Niblett played as a freshman for Texas A&M in 2020-21.
"I am thrilled to sign Makenzie and have her join our FrogFam," Ravaioli-Larkin said. "She is such a dynamic player and person with so much grit and passion for life and the game of golf. Her energy and confidence are contagious. She will make an immediate impact and help us reach our team goals."
A native of Austin, Texas, and graduate of Vandergrift High School, Niblett was 55th overall in the Golfweek Girls Junior Rankings. She was a two-time member (2017, 2018) of the AJGA All-Star Team and runner-up at the 2020 Women's Texas Amateur.
Niblett was a two-time recipient of the TJGT Sportsmanship Award and qualified for the 2019 U.S. Girls Junior Championship in Stevens Point, Wisc. She was the 2017 and 2018 individual champion at the LJT Texas Girls Invitational. Additionally, she won the 2019 Payne Stewart Junior Championship and 2018 AJGA Tayhartha Golf Junior All-Star Championship. She placed 64th at the 2018 U.S. Women's Amateur in Nashville.
