FORT WORTH – No. 6 TCU men's tennis (12-5, 1-0) returns to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center this weekend for a pair of matches against Big 12 Conference foes. The Horned Frogs will battle No. 18 Oklahoma State on Friday at 5:30 p.m. before taking on No. 21 Oklahoma on Sunday at 1 p.m. on the purple courts.

The Horned Frogs are playing in just their fourth home match of the season after playing 14 of its first 17 matches on the road. TCU is 3-0 on the purple courts this season with all three wins coming via sweep. The Frogs have not lost a home match since Feb. 9, 2020, 424 days.
Four Horned Frogs enter the weekend with national singles rankings. Alastair Gray leads the group with his highest-ever ranking of No. 10. He is followed by Luc Fomba (No. 18), Sander Jong (No. 47) and Jake Fearnley (No. 99).
The Frogs have handled themselves well in the Oklahoma double in recent years. TCU has not lost a regular season meeting against either OU or OSU since 2015.
THE OPPONENTS
Oklahoma State (7-8, 0-2) enters the weekend on a three-match losing streak, suffering home losses to UCF, Baylor and Texas Tech. The Cowboys and Horned Frogs have played a similar schedule, sharing eight common opponents up to this point in the season. OSU is 3-6 against those opponents, while TCU is 7-2. The Cowboys are 2-2 in road matches this season. TCU leads the all-time series, 13-10. This is the first time the two teams have met since Oklahoma State ousted TCU from the 2019 Big 12 tournament.
Oklahoma (10-10, 1-1) enters the weekend with a 2-1 record in April, collecting a home win over Texas Tech before falling to Baylor, 5-2, last Saturday. The Sooners added a home victory over UT-Arlington in a mid-week dual to get back to .500. This will be the second meeting between TCU and OU after the Horned Frogs swept the Sooners to qualify for Indoor Nationals back in January. TCU leads the all-time series against Oklahoma, 16-9. The Frogs have won the last seven straight meetings with OU dating back to 2015.
