TCU wins at No. 2, 4 and 6 singles for second

FORT WORTH – No. 48 TCU women's tennis (6-5, 0-1) got back in the win column on Saturday afternoon, taking down Oral Roberts, 4-0, at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. TCU won all five completed matches in a dominant display.

TCU shuffled its doubles lineup today, keeping the No. 1 pairing intact, while starting new pairs at No. 2 and No. 3. The moves paid off as the Frogs collected their most lopsided doubles point of the season (6-0 and 6-1). In singles, Marie Norris regained her form to the tune of a 6-0, 6-0 victory to boost the Frogs to a win. Norris won all three of her completed sets today by a combined score of 18-1.

DOUBLES QUICK HITS

TCU utilized a revamped doubles lineup with great success to take the doubles points with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
Addy Guevara and Tate Schroeder got the ball rolling in their first match together, rattling off six straight games to win, 6-0.
It was the second 6-0 doubles win of the season for the Frogs and the first involving Schroeder or Guevara.
This was Guevara's 10^th doubles win of the new year, improving her dual doubles record to 7-4.
Schroeder notched her seventh doubles win as a Horned Frog. She is now 4-4 in dual play.
Marie Norris and Stevie Kennedy dominated their doubles match as well, polishing off a 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles. This was the most lopsided win either Norris or Kennedy have enjoyed this season.
Norris is now 10-5 in doubles play this season, 7-4 in dual action.
Kennedy is now 7-7 in doubles play with the win.
The Horned Frogs improve to 21-16 in doubles matches this season.

SINGLES QUICK HITS

TCU won all three completed singles matches today, collecting wins from Norris, Isabel Pascual Montalvo and Margaret Polk.
Marie Norris claimed the first win of the day, dominating the No. 2 match, 6-0, 6-0.
It was her first 6-0, 6-0 win of the season. She now leads the team with four 6-0 sets this season.
This was her eighth win of the dual season and her 11^th overall singles win of 2021, the most on the team.
Pascual regained her winning form with a strong, 6-3, 6-1 result at No. 4.
This was her first-career win at No. 4 and the highest-seeded win of her collegiate career.
Pascual improves to 5-4 this season in singles play, 3-3 in duals.
Margaret Polk secured her first clinch of the 2021 campaign with a tidy victory on court six.
Polk is now 4-5 in singles competition this season and 2-3 in duals.
The Horned Frogs improve to 32-20 in singles matches this dual season.
