FORT WORTH – No. 5 TCU men's tennis (10-5) will play its 10th road match of the season on Friday afternoon against Stanford (2-2). First serve is set for 1 p.m. CT in Stanford, Calif. This is the 13th dual away from home out of 16 matches this season. The Horned Frogs lead the nation in road victories over ranked opponents, with six.
Stanford is not ranked in the national polls after beginning its dual season two weeks ago. The Cardinal are 2-2 this season after being ranked No. 5 in the preseason polls.

The Horned Frogs are playing away from home for the second straight match and the 12th in the last 13 matches. TCU is 6-3 in true road matches this season, all six wins have come against teams now ranked in the Top-30, including two over Top-10 opponents (Ole Miss and Baylor).
Four Horned Frogs achieved new career-highs in the latest ITA singles rankings. Luc Fomba has broken into the national Top 10 for the first time in his career (No. 10). He becomes the highest ranked Horned Frog since Alex Rybakov (No. 4 in 2019).
Just behind Fomba, Alastair Gray checks in at No. 11, the highest singles ranking in his career. Sander Jong (No. 37) and Tomas Jirousek (No. 121) are each boasting their highest career rankings as well, with Jake Fearnley coming in at No. 95.
TCU now has three singles players in the national Top 40 for the first time in program history and the first time that five different Horned Frogs are in the national Top 125 in program history
THE OPPONENT
Stanford will be playing its fifth dual of the 2021 season after being cleared for competitions earlier this month. The Cardinal are 2-2 thus far, with wins over Santa Clara and Saint Mary's, followed by a pair of losses to UCLA and No. 15 USC.
This will be the ninth all-time meeting between TCU and Stanford. The Horned Frogs lead the all-time series, 5-3. TCU has won the last four meetings and is a perfect 4-0 against Stanford in the Roditi era.
