No. 10 Texas A&M wins three three-set battles to hand No. 6 TCU a road defeat.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – No. 6 TCU men's tennis (10-5) dropped a hard-fought dual to No. 10 Texas A&M, 5-2, on Tuesday night in College Station. The Horned Frogs worked for match points in multiple matches but couldn't find the winning formula against the Aggies. All five of the Horned Frogs' losses this year have come against Top-10 opponents.

"We are proud of our team's fight and never backing down from competition," TCU head coach David Roditi said. "We will continue to battle. We appreciate the opportunity. Go Frogs!"

Second-year Frogs Tadeas Paroulek and Jake Fearnley recorded points in singles play at No. 5 and No. 6. All four of the top matches either went to three sets, required tiebreakers or both. The Aggies managed to win all three tiebreakers across the top four courts and found a late break to win on two as TCU dropped its fifth match of the season.

SINGLES QUICK HITS

Paroulek recorded the first singles win of the day at No. 5, using two late breaks to win his match: 6-4, 6-4.
He improves to 5-5 this dual season and 5-4 at No. 5.
This was his second singles win in a row, both coming in straight sets.
This was his fifth career straight set victory.
Fearnley overcame a loss in his opening set to take his match at No. 6: 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
This was his second singles win of the season, he is now 2-1 since coming back from his injury.
This was only the second three-set win of his collegiate dual career, both have come at the hands of Texas A&M.
TCU is now 42-29 in singles matches this dual season.

The Horned Frogs continue their road trip filled season with a dual at Stanford on Friday, March 26, at 1 p.m. CT. Stanford, a stalwart in the national Top 10, is unranked as of now, after just starting play on March 12. TCU will be its fifth dual of the 2021 season.
