The Rundown
TCU dominated play from start to finish, peppering the Lady Panther's goal with 20 shots on frame. The opportunities came early and the Frogs opened up a 1-0 lead on Gracie Brian's first tally of the game in the eighth minute. Jenna Winebrenner fed Brandi Peterson with room to run. She crossed the ball to a waiting Brian for the tap in goal.
In the 24th minute, Brian struck again on a through-ball feed from Grace Collins. Her shot ricocheted into the far corner for a 2-0 lead. Less than a minute later, Oli Pena made it 3-0 as she fired home another Collins feed from the top of the 18.
More of the same followed in the second half. Brian completed the hat trick just over three minutes into the half. Camryn Lancaster found Brian on the doorstep for the tally.
Messiah Bright made history as she found twine in the 57th minute. Peterson once again set the table teaming up with Brian to assist on the Bright tally on the far post. The goal put Bright alone at the top of the career points list.
Lauren Memoly tallied in the 67th minute and Skylar Heinrich the 76th minute to push the TCU lead to seven. An own goal created by a Heinrich crossing feed that deflected in off a defender accounted for the final score.

Quotes of the Game
Head Coach Eric Bell
On the game:
"We knew that it was going to be a challenge for them considering where we are in our talent level and where they are with their talent level. With all due respect to them, we knew we were going to have the ball a lot. Did I expect this? Kind of, sort of. But we didn't know what they were going to do as far as their defending. Were they going to drop off or step up and press us or do normal stuff. We were prepared for all of that.
On playing at home:
"It was awesome. Having a chance to play on our own field in front of our home fans was awesome. It was a little cooler than we wanted it to be, but it was nice."
On Gracie Brian's game:
"She's a heck of a player. She creates opportunities for other people and she can obviously finish scoring opportunities for herself. She's a very good competitor and I'm happy for her."
