Sunday’s Soccer Match Moved to 11 a.m.
FORT WORTH – Due to projected inclement weather in the Fort Worth area Sunday night, the TCU vs. Oklahoma State soccer match has moved from a 5 p.m. start to an 11 a.m. start. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU. Gates at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium will open at 10 a.m.
The Horned Frogs enter Sunday's match ranked as high as No. 11 in the polls. They are 10-2-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in conference play after handing Oklahoma a 2-0 loss on Thursday night. Grace Collins scored her team-leading seventh goal, while Skylar Heinrich notched her first goal in a TCU uniform. Lauren Kellett tallied four saves for her fifth shutout of the year. Head Coach Eric Bell will be seeking his 100th career win at TCU in the contest.
Oklahoma State played to a 1-1 double overtime draw at Texas Tech on Thursday night. The Cowgirls enter Sunday's match at 6-4-2 on the season and 1-1-1 in Big 12 play. Gabriella Coleman recorded her fourth goal of the season. Evi Viatli made six saves on seven shots in the contest.
