Eric Bell notches TCU win No. 100 in the victory

FORT WORTH – Gracie Brian, Messiah Bright and Grace Collins each tallied for No. 11 TCU as the Horned Frogs handed Oklahoma State a 3-0 loss Sunday afternoon at Garvey-Rosenthal. Lauren Kellett needed to make just two saves to notch her second straight shutout.

The Rundown
TCU dominated the possession from the opening touch and never let up. The hard work was rewarded in the 18^th minute as the Frogs jumped out to the early lead. Grace Collins' first attempt to cross the ball was blocked, but she regrouped and found a wide open Gracie Brian on the far post for the easy goal and a 1-0 lead.

Just minutes after TCU took the lead, Oklahoma State had its best look at finding the back of the net. In transition, Olyvia Dowell fired off a rising shot from the top of the 18 that Lauren Kellet and to make a leaping save on to keep the Frogs lead intact.

In the second half, TCU weathered a strong push from the Cowgirls. While they had the bulk of the possession time early, TCU only allowed a single shot and none on goal.

The Frogs capitalized on its first real opportunity of the half as Messiah Bright struck for a goal in the 63^rdminute. Chaylyn Hubbard and Payton Crews worked to create space and Crews sent a long feed right to a streaking Bright. She worked her way to a shooting position and fired home her seventh goal of the season for a 2-0 lead.

A handball in the 79^th minute led to a penalty kick. Collins' PK attempt was saved by the keeper, but she was right there to clean up the rebound for a 3-0 lead.

"Honestly, it's not something I really think about. It's nice to have the longevity, to still be here and be able to win games with this group. It's awesome. Like I've said before, it's not just because of me. It's because of the players, the coaching staff and the support staff that all contribute. It's a program accomplishment."

"I thought from minute one we were able to get on top of the ball and do our thing. We moved the ball and created a lot of dangerous opportunities. We were able to score in the first half which I thought was positive. Scoring against the wind was big because we knew it would be an uphill battle for them in the second half."

On the shutouts:
"We like shutouts. It shows a total team effort from the defensive standpoint. Obviously Lauren (Kellett) gets the accolades for that, but it's a team deal, like scoring goals is a team deal."
