
Heard's 22 Points Not Enough, Frogs Fall to Cowgirls on the Road

TCU drops second straight to Cowgirls in 69-50 defeat
STILLWATER, Okla. – TCU's Lauren Heard bounced back with a 22-point effort in a road game at Oklahoma State, but the Cowgirls came away with the victory, 69-50, at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Saturday. The loss dropped the Horned Frogs to 5-5 overall and 0-5 in Big 12 play, while OSU improved to 9-2 on the season and 5-0 in league play.
TURNING POINT
Oklahoma State forced nine turnovers in the first quarter and used a 14-0 run in the frame to take a 22-8 lead. TCU drained back-to-back three-pointers to open the second quarter, but the home team would go on to outscore the Frogs 15-8 the rest of half. OSU outscored TCU 26-14 in the third quarter on the way to its 19-point victory.
