Seven Horned Frogs Receive Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Honors

Six Student-Athletes were named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team with one second team recipient.
FORT WORTH -- TCU beach volleyball had seven student-athletes represented on the academic All-Big 12 at-large team, the conference office announced on Friday morning.
Senior Claire Doyle and Junior Jordan Westendorff received first team honors for the second time in their careers while Taylor Bradley, Hayley Boll, Hailey Brockett and Caroline White received first team recognition for the first time. Senior Jensyn Bledsoe was named to the second team as well.
The team recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at Conference institutions that participate in sports outside of Big 12 competition. The Horned Frogs earned six firs
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
