Friday's round begins at 9 a.m.
FORT WORTH – TCU will once again head west and compete at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate starting Friday in Palm Desert, Calif.
Each day will be a double-tee start off on holes 1 and 10 starting at 9 a.m. CT. The three-round, 54-hole tournament concludes on Sunday.
The five that will compete for TCU are Alejandro Aguilera, Mateo Fernández de Oliveira, Gustav Frimodt, Justin Gums and Aymeric Laussot. Caden Christopherson will compete as an individual. Aguilera is the only one who competed at last year's tournament where TCU finished fourth out of 21 teams.
TCU won the 2013 and 2015 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. Julien Brun won the individual championship in 2013 and 2014.
LAST TIME OUT
TCU finished ninth at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate on Feb. 8 in Waikoloa, Hawai'i. Fernández de Oliveira finished tied for 18th place to lead the Frogs, shooting 7-under 209.

• Finished tied for 19th at the Latin America Amateur Championship in Mexico on Jan. 19.
• Was co-leader for TCU at the Carmel Cup with a score of 2-under 214, tied for 17th place.
• Shot a career-best 7-under 209 at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate, including two sub-70 rounds.
Gustav Frimodt (Freshman | Glamsbjerg, Denmark)
• Shot a season-best 1-over 214 at the Nike Collegiate Invitational.
• Finished in 21st place with a score of 1-over 217 at the Hartford Hawks Invitational.

• Was among TCU's top three finishers in all four tournaments this season.
