TCU Women’s Tennis closes the fall season this weekend
FORT WORTH – TCU women's tennis is traveling up to Stillwater, Okla. to close out its 2020 fall season at the Fall Series Championships. The tournament will feature three flights of singles competition and a 20-pairing doubles tournament comprised of conference opponents.
Two Horned Frogs will play in the singles top-flight: Mercedes Aristegui and Isabel Pascual Montalvo. It will be a double-elimination style event. Montalvo drew the top-seeded player in the conference, Bunyawi Thamchaiwat from Oklahoma State. Aristegui will be playing Ayumi Miyamoto, also from Oklahoma State.
In doubles play, TCU will be leaning on Marie Norris and Addy Guevara to represent the Horned Frogs. They will battle Rosanna Maffei and Manami Ukita from Kansas State in the opening round.
Stevie Kennedy will be playing in the second flight of singles while Margaret Polk will be competing in the third flight.
