
TCU Opens 2020 At Michigan Invite

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- TCU women's tennis begins the new decade with the three-day Michigan Invitational this weekend (Fri-Sun., Jan. 17-19) at the Varsity Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Michigan. The Horned Frogs will battle three ranked opponents: No. 22 Tennessee, No. 25 Ohio State and No. 14 Michigan. The weekend will be tournament style with no team scores being recorded.
The tournament will be the 2020 debut for all the Horned Frogs, notably No. 81 Mercedes Aristegui who enters play with the highest singles ranking of her career. It will also be the return of redshirt senior Marie Norris. Norris was awarded All-Big 12 Singles Second Team honors in 2018 before missing the 2019 season due to injury.
