Horned Frogs welcome Mountaineers for Thursday night conference clash
FORT WORTH – TCU Volleyball concludes its first run through the conference schedule with a 7:00 p.m. contest against the West Virginia Mountaineers Thursday evening inside The Rickel. This will be the 15th all-time meeting between the two schools and 14th involving head coach Jill Kramer. Kramer, WVU head coach from 2010-2014) is 6-2 against her former program as the Director of Volleyball Operations at TCU, including an unblemished 4-0 record against them in Fort Worth.
Match Information
Last Match
-Junior Dani Dennison made her first start at libero this season and responded with a season-best 21 digs, her first 20+ dig performance of 2019.
-She averaged 7.00 digs/set in the match, becoming just the third Big 12 player this season to do so.
-Freshman setter McKenzie Nichols finished with 30 assists, her third 30+ assist performance in her last four matches.
-Redshirt junior Ashley Waggle and Freshman Audrey Nalls each led the team with nine kills.
-Waggle has now recorded at least nine kills in each of her last six matches.
-Nalls continued her streak to 17 straight matches with at least eight kills.
