FORT WORTH, Texas - After winning its third straight Big 12 regular season title, the No. 8 TCU men's tennis team will open postseason by hosting the 2018 NCAA Men's Tennis First and Second Rounds for the fourth straight season from May 12-13 at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
The Horned Frogs (18-4) will face Utah State (19-8) in the opening round of the Fort Worth Regional at 1 p.m., on Saturday. The other first round match will feature No. 26 Dartmouth (20-5) and No. 35 Oregon (17-9) with the two teams facing off at 10 a.m. The winners of each match will move into the second round which will take place at 1 p.m., on Sunday with the victor earning a spot in the NCAA Championship Team Finals that will be held at the Leighton Family Courts in Winston-Salem, N.C., on the campus of Wake Forest from May 17-22.

Tickets to the first and second-round matches can be purchased in advance by calling the TCU ticket office at 817-257-3764 or at GoFrogs.com. Tickets also will be available for purchase on match days at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center beginning one hour before match time.

Clear Bag Policy
Only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-One unopened bottle of water
-Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
-The Small clutch bags must be approximately the size of a hand
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
-Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed
TCU Notables
After starting the season 3-2, TCU has won 15 of its last 17 matches with a 12-match winning streak during that time. For the second straight season, the Frogs went undefeated in Big 12 action as they secured the team's third straight Big 12 regular season title. TCU is only the second program in conference history to go undefeated in league action in back-to-back seasons.
Alex Rybakov leads all players in the singles and doubles rankings with a No. 21 spot in the singles poll and pairs up with Guillermo Nuñez for a No. 6 ranking in the doubles poll. Rybakov boasts a team-best 18 wins in singles action and 11 victories over ranked opponents. The All-American duo have been nearly unstoppable in doubles with a 12-match winning streak and seven wins over ranked opponents. Nuñez has been strong for TCU in singles in his last season with the senior picking up 15 victories and boasts a perfect 4-0 mark against ranked opponents.
With 16 wins on the season in singles, Reese Stalder has been one of the most consistent performers for TCU this spring with wins in his last seven straight matches and a 4-1 record against ranked opponents. No. 65 Trevor Johnson, who went from the No. 6 spot in singles last year to the No. 2 spot this season, has made the most of his final season in Fort Worth with a 15-4 record and a 4-0 record in Big 12 matches. Johnson has defeated seven ranked opponents this spring with 13 wins coming at the No. 2 position.
