Team Notes
* TCU is off to a 2-0 start for the fifth consecutive season.
* The Horned Frogs started with a lineup of Lauren Heard, Jayde Woods, Kianna Ray, Jordan Moore and Amy Okonkwo for the second consecutive game.
* The Frogs wore "KH" patches on their uniforms in honor of Katrina Hunter, the mother of freshman Yummy Morris who passed away last Thursday.
* TCU did not trail in the contest, leading wire-to-wire, and has yet to trail this season.
* The 96 points are the most by TCU since it defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 112-62, on Dec. 10, 2017.
* Five players scored in double-digits for the Frogs for the first time since that same game against Southeastern Louisiana.
* The team's 28 assists on Sunday were its most since it had 33 against Southeastern Louisiana as well.
* The Frogs 8-for-18 from 3-point range and have made at least one 3-pointer in 212 games.
* The Horned Frogs led MVSU in points in the paint (46-12), points off turnovers (37-13), second-chance points (21-1), fast-break points (8-2) and points off the bench (43-16).
* TCU has now won 22 consecutive games over team's from the Southwestern Athletic Conference and is 24-4 all-time against the league.
Alexandria Crain
* Scored the first points of her collegiate career with a pair of free throws at the 9:11 mark in the second quarter.
* Finished with four points and two rebounds.
Ella Hellessey
* Scored a career-high 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting, reaching double-digits for the second time in her career.
* Also set personal-bests in field goals (5), field-goal attempts (8), 3-pointers (1), 3-point attempts (2) and minutes played (21).
Anneli Maley
* Tied her career high with game-best eight rebounds, matching her previous best set against Southern Utah while playing at Oregon on Dec. 9, 2017.
* Also added five points and an assist in the win.
Jordan Moore
* Scored a game-high 18 points, all in the first half.
* Became the 18th player in TCU to reach 1,000 career points and just the fifth to join the 1,000-points/600-rebound club.
* Her 18 points came on 8-of-11 shooting and she now has a field-goal percentage of .826 (19-23) this season.
* With six rebounds, she now has 608 in her career, the eighth-most in TCU history.
Yummy Morris
* Recorded the first two blocks of her collegiate career on the same possession in the second quarter.
* Finished with three rejections in the game.
* Had career highs in both points (10) and rebounds (6) as well, scoring in double-digits for the first time in her young career.
Amy Okonkwo
* Had 13 points in the win, scoring in double-digits for the third consecutive game, second time this season and 48th time in her career.
Ryann Payne
* Scored her first two career points on a layup in the third quarter.
* Tied for the game high with five assists.
Kianna Ray
* Tied her career highs with three 3-pointers (3x) and four steals (4x).
* Finished with a game-high plus/minus of +36 in 20 minutes of action, tying with teammate Adeola Akomolafe.
* Had a block on the contest as well to move her into sole possession of eighth on the TCU career blocks chart with 62.
* Scored in double-digits (11) for the first time this season and 14th time in her career.
