SAN ANTONIO, Texas – After a week off, the men's cross country returned to action in the Incarnate Word Invitational. The Horned Frogs finished second behind host school Incarnate Word.
Junior Dylan Brokmeyer was the first Horned Frog across the finish line, recording a mark of 27:22.2. Freshman Kelby Caplinger and Dallas Baptist-transfer Brendon Hicks followed, finishing in 27:32.2 and 27.36.7 respectively.
The men's team will race next at the Big 12 Championships, while the women's team races next Saturday at NCAA Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Kent.
