For a second-straight year, Williams earned second team recognition. The supply & value chain/finance major has started 15 games for the Horned Frogs this season. Williams, who made only his 17th career start Tuesday at Texas Tech, is one of only four players to see action in all 28 games and is averaging 4.2 points per contest this year.
Earlier this season, Williams tallied a season-high 13 points at Kansas, while also posting a career-high eight assists versus Baylor in January. He has totaled five or more assists in seven games this season.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher and must have participated in 60 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
