Quotes of the Weekend
Head coach Lee Taylor Walker
"Everyone improved this weekend and it was really encouraging to see. When a tournament requires you to play so many matches in a weekend, it forces players to find their rhythm in competition and that's what we had for several of our players. Seda (Arantekin) and Caroline (Wegner) paired well for the first time and really looked like a top doubles team as they improved a lot from match to match.
"Watching Aleksandra (Zenovka) compete full speed and find some success was such a pleasure. Having been out for nearly a year with injury, I'm so impressed with her attitude and level. Alexis (Pereira) proved she's one of the best when she's completely engaged. Her serve is up there top in the country and she utilized her slice backhand very effectively this entire weekend. Sofiko (Kadzhaya) made some huge mental strides and is starting her game style and thought processes between points. I was happy for her to take the back draw after a tough first round loss.
"Olaya (Garrido-Rivas) is starting to understand what it will take for her level to be consistent. She shows extremely high levels at times while at other times not. She can do many things on the court. Learning when and when not to use her variety of skills is our focus with her this next month. Afterwards she's going to be tough for anyone to beat. Mia (King) played some tough competition this weekend, but is slowly starting to find her range. She held leads in nearly all her matches and we need to focus on her playing with lead situations and aggressive skill sets. She's getting back into competition after a while away so I'm confident she will settle in during the next few tournaments.

Quotes for the Weekend
Head coach Lee Taylor Walker
On Marie Norris' performance at the Pro Circuit Event
"Marie (Norris) had another tough battle in Las Vegas. When you're playing against the best in the world, there are only a few opportunities in a match to take it. I'm proud of Marie for getting to these opportunities, but now we need to really sharpen her patterns of execution in those moments. If she's willing to continue to put herself in these types of situations, only good things can come from it. This was a huge step forward for our team this weekend and I am really proud of them all."
