2016-17 (SENIOR SEASON): Named the All-Big 12 Doubles Second Team after posting a 17-9 overall record along with a 18-9 mark in singles play ... battled an injury during the last part of the season but returned for postseason action ... posted nine singles wins during dual-match action with only three losses on the season ... won seven of her first eight matches during the spring season ... defeated Emily Arbuthnott of Stanford in the NCAA Championship second round in the final singles match of her collegiate career ... played at positions three through five in singles action ... posted a 2-1 record at No. 3, 3-2 at No. 4 and 4-0 at No. 5 ... went 6-2 in the final eight matches of the season ... won all three singles matches at the TCU Invitational in the final fall match of the season ... paired with Donika Bashota, Caroline Wegner, Marie Norrie and Seda Arantekin during the season in doubles ... was ranked with Bashota and Arantekin during the season ... began the spring season ranked No. 16 with Bashota and got to as high as No. 7 before ending the season at No. 24 ... earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Doubles Championship with Bashota where they lost in the first round to the No. 14 pair from Auburn ... was also ranked with Arantekin and entered the rankings on March 7 at No. 51 and climbed to as high as No. 31 before ending the season at No. 37 ... went 8-2 against ranked opponents in doubles ... posted a 12-3 record during dual-match play ... played mainly at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions ... went 9-3 at the No. 1 spot and 3-0 record at the No. 2 spot ... recorded two wins over conference foes Texas Tech and Kansas in doubles ... had an 11-match winning streak with Bashota and Arantekin in double action during the spring ... also honored with a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team
2015-16 (JUNIOR SEASON): Named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year after posting 20+ wins across singles and doubles ... was second on the team with 23-13 overall mark in singles ... one of three players in doubles to post at least 20 wins with a 20-15 record ... scored 15 wins during the dual-match season and played at positions 1 through 5 ... went 0-2 at the No. 1 spot, 2-0 at the No. 2 spot, 1-1 at the No. 3 spot, 11-1 at the No. 4 spot and 1-0 at the No. 5 spot ... ended the singles season on a five-match winning streak and 7-1 in her last eight completed matches ... went 6-1 against opponents from the Big 12 in singles action with wins over foes from Texas Tech, Kansas State, Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Iowa State ... defeated Rebecca Pedrazzi of Wichita State to help TCU earn the victory in the first round of the NCAA Championship ... had a nine-match winning streak during the season that went from Feb. 25 to April 15 ... defeated one ranked opponent during the fall action in singles ... went 12-5 in dual-match play in doubles action ... paired with Sofiko Kadzhaya, Aleksandra Zenovka, Caroline Wegner, Mia King and Seda Arantekin during the year ... saw action at all three positions during dual-match played with a 2-0 mark at No. 1, 3-0 mark at No. 2 and 7-5 mark at No. 3 ... won seven of her first eight doubles matches during the spring season ... made it to the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships with King during the fall ... put together a 6-3 record in doubles during conference action
2014-15 (SOPHOMORE SEASON AT USF): Posted a 7-8 record at the No. 1 spot…defeated No. 97 Stefanie Tan of TCU at the premier spot…was 3-10 in doubles playing primarily at the No. 1 spot.
2013-14 (FRESHMAN SEASON AT USF): Started the season strong in the three spot, posting a 17-7 singles record and 13-8 doubles record … Turned it on at the end of the year, finishing with a 9-1 record in her last 10 matches … Secured a point against #1 seed Houston to help win the American Athletic Conference Title … Named to the American Athletic All-Conference team with her impressive play … Earned ITA All-Academic Team status in July.
PERSONAL: Born May 22, 1995 to Angel Luis Garrido-Muniz and MaTeresa Rivas-Gonzalez in Gijon, Asturias, Spain. Major in mass communication with a concentration in public relations.
