FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU men's tennis player Cameron Norrie claimed his second title of the fall and his first professional title of his career by winning the singles crown at the Futures of Mansfield in Mansfield, Texas.
Norrie posted seven straight victories, including two in the qualifying draw, to win the Futures of Mansfield and claim his second straight title of the fall season. The sophomore easily handled his qualifying opponents and downed William Little of the United States (6-3, 6-1) and Denis Nguyen of the United States (6-3, 6-3) in straight sets to earn a spot in the main draw.
The Auckland, New Zealand native continued his straight-set winning streak by claiming wins over No. 810 Yuichi Ito of Japan (7-6[3], 6-3), No. 519 Wil Spencer of the United States (6-4, 6-4) and No. 205 Liam Broady of Great Britain (6-3, 6-3) to make his way into the semifinals.

Quotes from the Weekend
Assistant Coach Devin Bowen
"This was a phenomenal week for Cameron. He is a lot tougher mentally than he was last season and he is becoming a beast physically. He will take the next two days off and then will get back to work because there is still so much to improve upon."
