SPRING 2017 (JUNIOR)
Became the first player in program history to finish the season ranked No. 1 in the Oracle/ITA singles poll ... holds the TCU season singles winning percentage record (.955) after going 21-1 all at the No. 1 position ... went 19-1 against ranked opponents in singles and 5-0 in conference play ... won 18 of his singles matches in straight sets ... totaled 10 straight victories to start the season and avenged his only loss in the NCAA Championship Third Round ... chosen as the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Singles Championship ... played with Gianni Mancini, Hudson Blake, Reese Stalder, Jerry Lopez and Trevor Johnson in doubles action ... saw the most time with Johnson at the No. 3 spot where the duo went 11-1 and finished the season on a five-match winning streak ... defeated two ranked opponents in doubles with Stalder and Lopez ... finished the season ranked No. 44 in the Oracle/ITA doubles poll with Lopez ... became the first player in TCU men's tennis history to be named Big 12 Player of the Year ... became the first player in Big 12 history to earn Most Outstanding Player honors at the Big 12 Tournament in back-to-back seasons ... concluded his career with an 11-0 record in the Big 12 Tournament with a 6-0 mark at singles and 5-0 mark at doubles ... also named to the All-Tournament Team at the No. 1 singles and No. 3 doubles positions for the second straight season ... earned three Big 12 Player of the Week honors which is tied for the most in a single season in conference history ... earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Singles Team for the third straight year and All-Big 12 Doubles Team for the second straight season ... named ITA Texas Region Player to Watch and ITA Singles All-American for third time in career.
FALL 2016 (JUNIOR)
Did not compete in any collegiate tennis events ... played only in ITF and ATP events ... made the finals of singles at the Aptos Challenger in Aug. 2016 ... advanced to the round of 16 at back-to-back events in the Cary Challenger and the Columbus Challenger in September of 2016 ... advanced out of qualifying and into the main draw of the Fairfield Challenger in Oct. 2016 where he advanced to the Round of 16 ... made it to the quarterfinals of singles and the final of doubles at the Columbus Challenger in Nov. 2016 ... advanced to his second straight singles quarterfinals at the Waco Futures event in Nov. 2016 and the semifinals of doubles with teammate Guillermo Nuñez.
SPRING 2016 (SOPHOMORE)
Posted a 28-8 overall singles record and a 19-8 overall doubles record … played at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in singles with an 18-4 mark in dual matches and 22 victories over ranked opponents … won nine of his last 10 matches played and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Singles Championship … became the first TCU men’s tennis player to punch their ticket the NCAA Singles Final Four before dropping a straight-set decision to the No. 1 player in the country … earned All-American honors for the second straight season … started season ranked No. 15 in the singles poll and climbed to as high as No. 2 before earning a final ranking of No. 3 … played with Trevor Johnson, Jerry Lopez, Eduardo Nava and Alex Rybakov in doubles action during the spring … played at all three positions with a 3-5 mark at No. 1, a 2-0 record at No. 2 and a 12-1 mark at the No. 3 spot … won 10 straight matches during dual match play with Lopez and Rybakov and four straight matches with Nava and Rybakov to end the season … helped lead TCU to its first Big 12 regular season and tournament title … named the Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player and to the all-tournament team at the No. 1 Singles and No. 3 Doubles positions … garnered All-Big 12 Singles First Team and Doubles Second Team honors … also earned two Big 12 Player of the Week honors and to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
FALL 2015 (SOPHOMORE)
Went 8-5 across singles and doubles with a 6-3 mark in singles and 2-2 record in doubles … won the inaugural Oracle/ITA Masters event and defeated four straight top-25 ranked opponents on his way to the title … took down No. 25 Benjamin Lock of Florida State and No. 21 Or Ram-Harel of Tulsa in straight sets before downing No. 10 Dominik Koepfer of Tulane and No. 7 Nicolas Alvarez of Duke in the semifinals and finals … also competed in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships and the Three Oaks Shootout … paired with Guillermo Nuñez, Eduardo Nava, Trevor Johnson and Trey Daniel in doubles matches.
SPRING 2015 (FRESHMAN)
Posted a 20-9 singles record and 18-10 record in doubles in his inaugural spring season for an overall mark of 38-19 ... went 17-8 during dual match play in singles and was ranked every week of the season ... ranked as high as No. 24 and finished the season ranked at No. 25 after advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship and earning All-American status ... became the second freshman and first since 2001 to earn All-America honors in singles ... posted eight wins against ranked opponents during the spring ... played mainly at the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions ... went 6-7 at No. 1, 3-1 at No. 2 and a perfect 8-0 at the No. 3 spot ... finished the season on a 12-match winning streak before dropping a three-set match in the NCAA Singles Championship to No. 9 Quentin Monaghan on Notre Dame ... went 2-1 in singles in Big 12 action with wins over opponents from Texas and Texas Tech ... paired with Trevor Johnson and Guillermo Nuñez in doubles ... went 15-5 with Johnson and 3-5 in dual matches with Nuñez ... defeated four ranked opponents in doubles with all of them coming with Johnson ... earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Doubles Championship with Johnson and advanced to the Round of 16 before losing to eventual NCAA Champions Lloyd Glasspool and Soren Hess-Olesen of Texas ... played at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the doubles lineup and went 1-2 at the top spot and 16-7 at the No. 2 position ... went 13-3 to end the season before starting the NCAA Championship ... ranked every week in doubles with Johnson and was ranked as high as No. 15 ... finished the season ranked No. 28 with Johnson.
FALL 2014 (FRESHMAN)
Competed in only three fall tournaments in his first semester at TCU and won the singles and doubles titles at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships ... went 8-2 in singles and 8-2 in doubles for an overall record of 16-4 ... he became the third freshman in the fall of 2014 to sweep both titles at a regional championship ... by pairing with fellow freshman Trevor Johnson, the duo became only the second all freshmen doubles tandem in the history of the regionals to snag the title ... won six straight singles matches to start his career and defeated two ranked players on his way to the singles crown at regionals ... defeated opponents from LSU and Ole Miss at the FGCU Spring Invite ... paired with Trevor Johnson and Guillermo Nuñez in doubles action during the fall ... went 7-2 with Johnson and 1-0 with Nuñez ... defeated two ranked opponents with Johnson.
